You can play on your own, or team up with other players and try and build a real community where you all work together. You need to explore the land to find items. The Art Of SurvivalĪs well as the whole water thing, Breakwaters is pretty stacked with things that you have to do. I think this is a very cool gameplay mechanic and one I am excited to spend some real time with. There are many treasures hidden in the water and this is a way that you can get in there and explore it. ![]() You can make invisible walls to keep waves at bay and you can shape water in many clever ways. For example, you can throw one in the middle of an ocean and it will create this big sort of vacuum where the water disappears and you can walk around and explore. I do not mean build things, but change the way it acts. You can get these crystals that you can use to shape water the way you want it. Form huge oceans, lakes, and crashing waves, water is very interesting in this game. The main thing I want to talk about in terms of the gameplay that Breakwaters has is the way it deals with water. I am hoping that when the game is finished it is fleshed out so we can see what these things are and where they come from. There are smaller enemies too, golems that you will have to deal with too. These are these hulking beasts that emerge from the water and only have destruction on their mind.
